A horse «Australia» in dots

The body of the horse is completely covered with a pattern in the form of concentric circles, which are made of dots. The plot of the drawing and the technique of its application go back to the tradition of the dot pattern of the Australian aborigines. They invented it about 4,000 years ago and used instead of writing. With the help of dot-ornaments the indigenous people of Australia recorded their history, described the structure of the world, recorded observations of the moon and stars and kept an agricultural calendar. Today Aboriginal dot-painting is extremely popular and is considered to be the asset of the country. It is also prohibited to export it abroad.
